Drug Formulation

1 sheng of white horse manure, 1 sheng of white cow manure, 1 sheng of white sheep manure, 1 sheng of white pig manure, 1 sheng of white chicken manure, and 2 jin of Lo Lu.

Processing

Burn each of the above ingredients on a stone until reduced to ash, grind them, and sift through silk; use 1 sheng and 3 he of pork fat to decoct 1 liang and a half of tangled hair until it boils vigorously and dissolves completely, then add the powdered ingredients and simmer over low heat for 5–6 boils until the medicine is ready.

For rat-bite emaciation and scrofula.

Instructions for Use

Remove the scab from the sore, wash it with salt water, pat dry with a clean piece of silk, then apply the ointment. Wrap the area with silk to protect it from drafts and cold; if there is no scab, still wash with salt water twice a day.
