Schisandra berries 6 liang, Cistanche deserticola 4 liang (soaked in wine, then baked), Achyranthes root 3 liang (soaked in wine), Dodder seeds 2 liang (soaked in wine, then stir-fried), Eucommia bark 3 liang (stir-fried with ginger until the fibers break), Asparagus root 2 liang (core removed), Guangmuxiang 1 liang, Morinda root 2 liang (core removed),2 liang of Chinese yam, 1 liang of deer antler (thoroughly roasted in clarified butter), 2 liang of plantain seed (roasted), 1 liang of acorus (baked), 1 liang of alisma (hairs removed), 1 liang of raw rehmannia (washed with wine), 1 liang of prepared rehmannia (processed with wine), 1 liang of ginseng (root base removed),Frankincense 1 liang (ground separately), Myrrh 5 qian (ground separately), Goji berries 1 liang, Star anise (roasted) 2 liang, Rubus fruit 1 liang, Cinnabar (calcined) 1 liang, Lycium bark 2 liang, Apricot kernels (peeled and de-tipped) 1 liang,Cornus fruit (pitted) 2 liang, Cypress seed 1 liang, Sichuan pepper (seeds removed, stir-fried with the pods closed) 7 qian, Chinese toon fruit (stir-fried) 1 liang, Polygala root (core removed) 1 liang, Dragon bone (calcined) 5 qian, Poria cocos (peeled) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (washed with wine) 1 liang.
