Drug Formulation

Schisandra berries 1 liang, Fangfeng (with forks removed) 1 liang, Goji berries (using the white root bark, coarsely chopped) 1 liang, Achyranthes root 1 liang, Peony root (with core removed) 1 luo, Cistanche (sliced, stir-fried) 1 liang,Scutellaria baicalensis (with black core removed) 1 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang, Salvia miltiorrhiza (with soil and shoots removed, lightly roasted) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (sliced, dried) 1 liang, Acanthopanax senticosus bark (chopped) 1 liang, Alisma orientale 1 liang, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (roasted, crushed) 1 liang,1 liang of Trifoliate Orange Peel (fried with wheat bran, pith removed), 1 liang of Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed), 1 liang of Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, coated with ginger juice and roasted 5 times), 1 liang of Anemarrhena Rhizome (baked), 1 liang of Asarum (stems and leaves removed, lightly roasted), and 1 liang of Angelica Dahurica (roasted).

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients to the size of sesame or bean seeds, place them in a raw silk bag, and seal it with 2 dou of fine wine. Let it steep for 7 days.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 he per dose, warm, on an empty stomach, at noon, and before bedtime. With prolonged use, gradually increase the dose to 7 he or 1 sheng; do not allow intoxication or vomiting.
