Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (processed with ginger) 8 qian, Coptis (top removed, stir-fried) 1 liang 3 qian, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1.5 qian, Cinnamon Bark (peeled) 1 qian, Croton Seed Powder 0.4 fen, Poria (peeled) 1.5 qian (ground separately), Sichuan Aconite (processed, peeled) 1 qian,Ginseng (root removed) 2 qian, Sichuan pepper (roasted, moisture removed) 1.5 qian, Platycodon root 1 qian, Aster root (stems removed) 1.5 qian, White cardamom 1 qian, Dried tangerine peel 1 qian, Green tangerine peel 0.5 qian, Beijing-style Curcuma (roasted) 1 qian, Asparagus root 1 qian.

Processing

Except for Poria and Croton Seed Powder, which are added at the last moment, grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Begin with 2 pills; add 1 pill on the first day, 2 pills on the second day, and gradually increase the dose until stools become loose. Then resume the regimen starting with 2 pills, taking them with a lightly boiled ginger decoction after meals. Repeat this cycle; once the mass has reduced by more than half, discontinue the treatment.
