Drug Formulation

Half liang of calcium carbonate, half liang of Bupleurum (stems removed), 1 fen of Asarum (washed to remove stems and soil), 1 fen of Angelica sinensis (chopped and lightly roasted), half liang of Sichuan rhubarb (chopped finely and lightly roasted), 1 fen of Poria cocos,1 fen of Red Peony Root, 1 fen of Gan Sui (roasted until yellow), half a liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 1 fen of Wood Fragrance, 1 fen of Sweet Shepherd’s Purse (roasted through paper until purple), 10 seeds of Croton tiglium (remove skin and core, grind, wrap in paper, and press to remove oil).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

For each dose: 1 pill for a 1-year-old child, 2 pills for a 2-year-old, 3 pills for a 3-year-old, and 5 pills for children aged 4–5 years. Take on an empty stomach with congee. Continue until a smooth bowel movement is achieved; if no bowel movement occurs, take another dose the following morning.
