Drug Formulation

Cloves 1 fen, Agarwood (chopped) 1 fen,Frankincense (ground) 1.5 qian, Fennel Seeds half liang (roasted), Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) half liang, Areca Nuts 2 (add 2 in winter, chopped), Cardamom 2 (add 2 in summer, shelled), Piper longum half liang, Asafoetida (ground) a small amount, Croton Seeds 15 (remove skin and core; do not extract oil; grind separately).

Processing

Except for the ground ingredients, pound the remaining herbs and sift them into a fine powder. Then add frankincense, croton seeds, and asafoetida, mixing thoroughly. Cook white rice porridge and use it to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills at a time, washed down with ginger soup. If there is disharmony of qi in the chest and diaphragm, or cold qi from the primordial organs rising upward and causing confusion and drowsiness, increase the dose to 10 pills and take them with warm wine; regular intake with boiled water is also acceptable. It is important to maintain gentle physical activity; adjust the dosage as needed.
