Drug Formulation

1 liang of black pepper, 1 liang of red beans (stems removed), 1 liang of white angelica root (roasted), 1 liang of dried ginger (roasted and washed), 1 liang of cardamom, 1.5 liang of fennel (rinsed to remove sand, roasted), 1.5 liang of licorice (roasted), 3 qian of asafoetida (ground separately, wrapped in flour and baked, then dissolved in wine and added to the mixture), and 2 liang of amomum seeds.
