Drug Formulation

Whole scorpion (wrapped in peppermint leaves, tied with string, and roasted until the peppermint leaves are charred), scorpion powder, and mercury oxide—each in equal parts.

Instructions for Use

For a 1-year-old, administer 1 zi, mixed with peppermint juice. After a while, vomiting and loose stools indicate recovery. For acute or chronic convulsions, first administer a small amount of Shenbao Dan.

Note

Do not use for acute convulsions.
