Drug Formulation

Half a liang of dried snails, half a liang of dried earthworms, 1 fen of snake shed skin, 1 fen of musk, 3 dried toad heads, 5 Schisandra berries, and 5 myrrh seeds.

Processing

Place the four ingredients—snail, earthworm, snake shed skin, and toad head—in a jar, seal the opening, and heat over charcoal until the jar turns red-hot. Remove them and grind them together with the remaining three ingredients into a fine powder. Form into pills the size of mung beans using millet rice.
