Drug Formulation

1 set of goose fat, 2 liang of licorice (roasted), 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Cinnamomum cassia, 2 liang of Paeonia lactiflora, 2 liang of Panax ginseng, 2 liang of gypsum (crushed), 30 peach kernels (with skin and tips removed), 20 jujubes (split), and 2 liang of rhubarb.

Instructions for Use

Boil goose fat in 1 dou 2 sheng of water; take the resulting broth (1 dou) and boil the herbs in it until reduced to 5 sheng. Strain out the residue and divide the decoction into doses. If goose fat is unavailable, use goose meat; if neither goose nor goose fat is available, duck or chicken may be substituted.
