Drug Formulation

2 qian of Angelica sinensis root, 3–5 qian of prepared Rehmannia root, 1.5 qian of white peony root (stir-fried with wine), 1 qian of Poria cocos (with the woody core removed), 1 qian of jujube seed (stir-fried), 1 qian of raw Rehmannia root, 1 qian of licorice (roasted), 6 fen of Polygala root, 3 fen of Schisandra, 3–4 fen of dried ginger (stir-fried until black), 7 fen of biota seed (lightly stir-fried, oil removed),5 white lotus seeds (removed from the seed pod, lightly roasted, and crushed).
