4 qian of Sichuan Magnolia Bark, 4 qian of White Poria, 4 qian of Half-Processed Pinellia, and 4 qian of Perilla Leaves.

Instructions for Use

Add 7 slices of fresh ginger, 3 jujubes, and 1 zhan of water; decoct until reduced to 6 fen. Pour a small amount of the hot decoction into a coarse bowl, then grind the five ingredients together:1 piece of musk, 1 areca nut, 1 piece of Wuyao, 1 piece of agarwood, and half a Zhi Ke. Add them one by one to the bowl, grinding each vigorously 50 times in the same direction. Return the mixture to the original bowl and mix thoroughly. Take on an empty stomach. First use the Phlegm-Expelling Pills, then the Medicinal Grinding Decoction; severe cases will be cured in 6–7 doses. Ten days later, take the Tongue Powder.
