Drug Formulation

5 liang of night-blooming jasmine branches, 5 liang of mulberry branches, 5 liang of locust tree branches, 5 liang of cypress branches, 5 liang of pomegranate branches (used raw, coarsely chopped), 2 liang of notopterygium (root tip removed, pounded separately), 5 sheng of black beans (use small, firm ones; used raw), 5 sheng of glutinous rice, 7.5 jin of fine rice malt, and 5 liang of saposhnikovia (branches removed, pounded separately).

Processing

Take the above 10 ingredients. First, decoct the five types of branches together in 5 dou of water until reduced to 2 dou 5 sheng. Strain out the residue, then soak the glutinous rice and black beans in the liquid for two nights. Steam until cooked, add the malt, and mix thoroughly with the Fangfeng and Qianghuo. Ferment and seal according to standard methods for 21 days, then press to remove the lees.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 to 5 he of clear wine and drink it periodically, maintaining a constant scent of alcohol on the breath. Do not allow excessive intoxication, as this may lead to vomiting, which would disrupt the vital energy.
