Drug Formulation

Aconite Root (roasted, peel and pith removed) 1 liang, Sichuan Aconite (roasted, peel and pith removed) 1 liang, Angelica Root (soaked in wine, then baked) 1 liang,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Qianghuo 1 liang, Roucongrong (soaked in wine, processed) 1 liang, Duzhong (peeled, stir-fried to remove fibers, treated with ginger juice) 1 liang, Huangqi 1 liang, Bai Jili (stir-fried to remove thorns) 1 liang, Baizhu 1 liang, Ren Shen 1 liang, Chuan Niuxi (soaked in wine, baked, root base removed) 1 liang,Saposhnikovia root 1 liang, Gastrodia tuber (stem removed) 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Smilax glabra 1 liang, Dogspine (roasted to remove hairs) 1 liang, Dipsacus root 1 liang, Angelica pubescens 1 liang, Cinnamon bark (coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Red peony root 1 liang, Tiger shin bone 2.5 liang (roasted with clarified butter).

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, place them in a raw silk bag, and soak in ash-free wine. Seal the bottle tightly. Leave for 3 days in spring, 2 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, and 10 days in winter. Remove, sun-dry, roast until dry, and grind into a powder. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using wine paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills each time on an empty stomach, washed down with one zhan of the medicinal wine used for soaking.

Note
