Drug Formulation

Half a jin of soapberry (peeled, stringy parts removed, and coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Cimicifuga, 1 liang of Asarum, 2 liang of salt (rock salt is especially good; soak the three ingredients together for 2–3 nights, then remove and stir-fry until their properties are preserved), half a liang of willow twigs (charred), and half a liang of locust twigs (charred, preserving their properties).
