Drug Formulation

2 liang of raw red ochre (finely ground), 5 qian of sodium carbonate, 2 qian of dried ginger, 1.5 qian of Gan Sui (finely ground; take with the decoction).

Benefits

Due to overeating, excessive consumption of raw or cold foods, the congealing of cold and fire, or prolonged vomiting, both stomach qi and rising qi rebel upward and fail to descend; undigested food accumulates in the intestines and cannot pass downward, resulting in constipation lasting many days.

Instructions for Use

Decoct in water and take with Gan Sui powder. If vomiting is severe, first take 1 liang of Ochre and half a qian of Dried Ginger, decocted and taken to stop the vomiting.
