Drug Formulation

Loquat leaves (brushed to remove fuzz, edges trimmed, veins and membranes removed, honey-water-fried to about 2 jin; simmered with 5 bowls of river water and 5 bowls of well water, then strained to remove residue) 2 bowls; lotus root juice 1 bowl; pear juice 1 bowl; white jujube juice 1 bowl; water chestnut juice 1 bowl; radish juice 1 bowl; human milk 1 bowl; autumn dew 1 bowl; children’s urine 1 bowl(One version includes 1 bowl of bamboo sap).

Processing

Combine all ingredients in a porcelain pot and simmer until the volume is reduced by half; add 1 small cup of ginger juice and 2 liang of genuine persimmon frost, then simmer until the mixture is reduced to about one bowl’s worth; add 2 liang of white sugar, then simmer until reduced to about one bowl’s worth; add 2 liang of high-quality male pork lard (skin removed, cut into small pieces), then simmer while stirring constantly until the mixture does not spread when a drop is placed on water; add 2 liang of white honey, form into a paste, and remove from heat.

Instructions for Use

Take 4–5 qian per dose, mixed with plain boiling water on an empty stomach in the morning, at noon, and in the evening.
