Pain-Relieving Thunder-Fire Needle

Pain-Relieving Thunder-Fire Needle,When cold and dampness flow into the meridians and joints, they cause pain and numbness. The pain may be localized or wander unpredictably. It may also result from deficiency of qi and blood, leading to cold and an inability to circulate; when compounded by external invasion of wind and cold, the tendons and vessels become congested and blocked, causing pain due to obstruction. Alternatively, it may arise from excessive consumption of raw, cold, or hard-to-digest foods, leading to distension and fullness in the chest and abdomen, accompanied by distressing pain.Alternatively, excessive sexual activity may deplete kidney qi, allowing cold pathogens to invade the Kidney Shu point, causing pain along the Governor Vessel.
