Drug Formulation

2.5 qian of Chinese yam, 2.5 qian of ginseng, 2.5 qian of polygala, 2.5 qian of saposhnikovia, 2.5 qian of amethyst, 2.5 qian of poria, 2.5 qian of tiger bone, 2.5 qian of tiger’s eye, 2.5 qian of dragon’s tooth, 2.5 qian of schisandra, 2.5 qian of acorus, 2.5 qian of salvia, 2.5 qian of asarum, 0.4 fen of ground pearl powder,2 qian cinnabar (ground into a fine powder to serve as a coating).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, and coat with cinnabar.

Take 30–50 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of gold and silver, three times daily.
