Drug Formulation

1 set of pork liver (simmered with 1 dou of water and the herbs in a clean pot), 1 liang of black bean blossoms, 1 liang of locust blossoms, and 1 liang of rehmannia flowers.

Processing

Take the four ingredients listed above; grind the last three into a fine powder, mix with the liver, and simmer for one shichen. When a layer of congealed fat forms on the surface, skim it off into a porcelain bowl and warm it over a fire. Once it resembles slices of butter, transfer it to a porcelain plate.
