Chinese Name : 猪牙皂荚丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang of softshell turtle shell (coated with butter or roasted with vinegar until yellow; remove the frills), half a liang of pig’s tooth soapberry (remove the black skin; coat with butter and roast until charred yellow; remove the seeds),half liang of peach kernels (soaked in hot water, remove the skin, tip, and double kernels; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), half liang of prunus mume kernels (soaked in hot water, remove the skin and tip; lightly stir-fried), 1 liang of parietal bone (coated with butter and roasted until yellow), 1 fen of sweet shepherd’s purse (stir-fried through paper until yellow or purple), half liang of tiger skull bone (coated with butter and roasted until yellow), and half liang of dried Artemisia annua.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with Ophiopogon Decoction, at any time of day.
