Drug Formulation

50 castor beans (with the white powder removed), half a jin of Shenqu (ground into powder), 1 liang of Pinellia (washed), 10 qian of realgar, and 10 qian of white malt (roasted).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with water to form pills the size of small beans, and roast them with fine rice bran until they turn red.

Instructions for Use

Take with warm water after meals: 2 pills for children, 1 pill for 3–4-year-olds, and half a pill for children aged one and a half. To relieve cough, take with warm pickled vegetable juice; to relieve vomiting, take with ginger soup.
