Drug Formulation

Angelica sinensis (whole, soaked in wine, and baked dry) 1 liang; Ligusticum chuanxiong (soaked in wine) 5 qian; Paeonia lactiflora (stir-fried with wine) 1 liang; Rehmannia glutinosa (raw) (washed with wine, soaked in ginger juice, and baked) 1 liang; Rehmannia glutinosa (processed) 1 liang (prepared as above); Atractylodes macrocephala (stems removed, soaked in rice water, and stir-fried with earth) 2 liang; Anemarrhena asphodeloides (southern) (hairs removed, stir-fried with wine) 1 liang;Phellodendron Bark 2 liang (baked with salt and wine), Donkey-hide Gelatin 1 liang (stir-fried with clam powder), Ophiopogon Tuber (soaked in wine, core removed, thoroughly treated with ginger juice) 1 liang, Asparagus Root (core removed) 1 liang (prepared as above), Turtle Plastron 2 liang (thoroughly roasted with wine), Scutellaria Root (stir-fried with wine) 1 liang, Dried Tangerine Peel (soaked in salt water) 1 liang,Large Licorice (roasted) 5 qian, Trichosanthes Seed (roasted) 1 liang, Fritillaria (core removed) 1 liang, Schisandra Berry 5 qian, Coptis (soaked in ginger juice and roasted) 5 qian, Poria (peeled) 1 liang, Aster (washed with wine) 1 liang, Platycodon (root removed) 1 liang, Gardenia (roasted) 1 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a powder and mix with refined honey to form pills.

Instructions for Use

Take 100 pills per dose, on an empty stomach or before bedtime, with warm water; if phlegm is present, take with ginger tea.

Note

Not suitable for those with chronic diarrhea.
