Drug Formulation

1 large black aconite root (remove the core; hollow it out with a knife to form a small vessel; fill with half a qian of realgar and half a qian of calcined borax; wrap the aconite root in a steamed bun dough; bake over low heat until the dough is charred and cooked; peel off the dough and discard it; retain only the aconite root for use),1 liang of tangerine peel (must be of a deep red color; soak in hot water, remove the white pith; wrap one grain of croton seed in one slice of peel; place in a wok with half a sheng of rice and stir-fry over low heat until cooked; discard the croton seed and retain only the tangerine peel), 1 liang of Pinellia fermented with rice malt, 1 liang of green tangerine peel, 120 cloves, 1 liang of Aconite, 120 grains of black pepper, 1 liang of patchouli,1 liang of Piper longum, 1 liang of Galanga, 1 liang of persimmon calyx, 1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix with date pulp to form pills the size of a marble.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose. Take 1 large piece of fresh ginger, place the pill inside the ginger, wrap it in damp paper, and steam until tender. Chew and eat it together with the ginger, then wash it down with rice water on an empty stomach.
