Drug Formulation

1 qian of talc powder, 5 fen of mercury oxide, 1 qian of Pinellia tuber powder, 1 qian of Pinellia tuber (Southern Star) powder, and 24 croton seeds (remove the skin and membrane; boil in 1 sheng of water until dry, then grind into a fine powder).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder; first add the croton seed powder, then the mercury oxide, and grind until uniform; finally, add the remaining powdered herbs and mix thoroughly. Form into pills the size of mung beans using glutinous rice flour.

Instructions for Use

Adjust the dosage according to the child’s constitution (deficient or excess). For children under 3 years old, administer 3–5 pills per dose on an empty stomach, taken with Perilla Decoction. For children aged 3–5 years who are robust and healthy, do not adhere strictly to this limit; increase the dose up to 20 pills, stopping once bowel movements resume.
