Drug Formulation

1.5 liang of Stemona root, 2 liang of Asparagus root (core removed), 1.5 liang of Aster root, 1 liang of Fritillaria bulb, 1 liang of dried Pueraria root, 1 liang of White Houttuynia, 1 liang of Dried tangerine peel, 2 liang of fresh ginger, 3 he of sliced scallion whites, and 3 he of fermented soybeans.

Instructions for Use

Chop the ingredients as described above. Boil in 6 sheng of water until reduced to 1 sheng and 7 he; strain out the residue, and divide the warm decoction into 3 doses. The frequency of dosing may be adjusted as desired; it may also be divided into 4 doses, and taken between meals if preferred.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, carp, and garlic.
