Processing

Crush the above herbs as appropriate, fry them in 160 liang of sesame oil until charred, filter to remove the residue, and refine until a drop of the oil forms a bead when held up to water.

Instructions for Use

For every 160 liang of oil, mix in 60 liang of yellow丹 and stir until a paste forms. Immerse the mixture in water to remove the heat toxicity, then reheat until melted and spread onto a paper sheet. Each sheet should weigh 1 qian 5 fen of oil and be smooth as paper. Melt over low heat and apply to the affected area.
