Drug Formulation

4 liang of raw dried rehmannia root, 1 liang of scutellaria root, 1 liang of cypress leaves, 1 liang of licorice root (lightly roasted until reddish, coarsely chopped), 2 liang of donkey-hide gelatin (pounded with a mortar until dry and crumbly, with a yellowish hue), and 2 liang of astragalus root (coarsely chopped).
