Remove the wings, legs, and beaks; cut each into two pieces, mark them as left and right pairs, and bake again until dry. Grind into a fine powder. To reduce swelling on the left side, grind the seven left pieces into a powder, mix with the other ingredients, and take as directed; for the right side, use the powder made from the four remaining ingredients.

Water Retention.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, mix thoroughly with the powdered earth dog, and dissolve in a decoction of light bamboo leaves and Tianmendong. Take at the fifth watch. Wait until the swelling on the left side subsides; on the fourth day, treat the right side. If there is no response, simply take 3 qian of rhubarb, decoct until reduced by half, and use it to aid the process. If there is still no response, use clear tea to aid the process.
