Drug Formulation

2 liang of yellow ox cheek bone (crushed), half a liang of snake shed,half liang of pig’s tooth soapberry (chopped), half liang of hedgehog skin (chopped), half liang of palm bark (chopped), half liang of weasel skin, half liang of tea-bristle leaves (finely chopped), 70 pieces of pangolin scales, 1 liang of Polygonatum (chopped), and 1 fen of tangled hair.

Processing

Mix the ingredients thoroughly, place them in a porcelain jar, seal it with salt mud, dry it in the sun, and calcine it over charcoal until it glows red. Allow it to cool, remove it, and grind it into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose: first chew half a walnut kernel, then mix the powder with warm wine and swallow it. Take another dose just before bedtime and again at the beginning of the fifth watch, and yet another at the hour of Chen. Continue this regimen for 3 days.
