Drug Formulation

1 toad (use the body only, remove the head), half a liang of sulfur (ground separately), half a liang of frankincense (ground separately), half a liang of wood fragrant, half a liang of cinnamon (coarse bark removed), and 1 bee hive (burned to ash).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix the powder with 1 liang of clear oil, place the mixture in a porcelain bowl, and simmer in a double boiler over a pot of water, stirring constantly until it forms a paste.

Instructions for Use

Spread the ointment on a piece of silk and apply it to the affected area; wait until clear fluid oozes out, then replace with fresh ointment. For severe sores, apply a thick layer of the ointment.
