Drug Formulation

1 fen of Chuan tree root bark (chopped, stir-fried until slightly yellow), half liang of Trifoliate orange peel (stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow, pith removed), half fen of Coptis (stems removed, lightly stir-fried), half fen of Chinese pepper (lightly stir-fried), and half fen of Red Peony root.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose. Add 30 soybeans and 1 stalk of scallion white to 1 small cup of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, strain out the residue, and administer in divided doses according to the child’s age, warmed, at any time.
