1 whole goat liver (dried on a tile), 2 liang of prepared Rehmannia root, 1 liang of dodder seeds, 1 liang of Euphorbia seeds, 1 liang of Ophiopogon tuber, 1 liang of plantain seeds, 1 liang of Kochia seeds, 1 liang of Schisandra berries, 1 liang of Fangfeng, 1 liang of Scutellaria root, 1 liang of Poria, 1 liang of apricot kernels (roasted),Goji berries 1 liang, Leonurus seeds 1 liang, Bitter chickweed 1 liang, Blue fenugreek seeds 1 liang, Asarum 4 qian (adding 4 qian of cinnamon bark enhances the effect).
