Drug Formulation
4 qian of green tangerine peel, 4 qian of aged tangerine peel, 4 qian of Zingiber officinale rhizome (baked), 4 qian of Curcuma zedoaria rhizome (baked), 4 qian of Atractylodes lancea rhizome (soaked in rice water, then stir-fried), 4 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome (stem removed), 4 qian of Poria cocos, 4 qian of Amomum villosum, 4 qian of Amomum trichocarpum seeds, 4 qian of Aquilaria wood, 2 qian of Aquilaria wood, 2 qian of Clove, 4 qian of Agastache rugosa,Galangal 4 qian, Areca nut peel (washed) 4 qian, Cinnamon bark 4 qian, Forsythia 4 qian, White physalis 4 qian, Black chong (powdered) 4 qian, Dried silkworm 3 qian, Shenqu 4 qian, Barley malt 4 qian, Amomum seed 4 qian, Male aconite root 5 qian (use according to the patient’s condition—deficiency or excess; omit for excess conditions).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
First, administer the Musk Sandalwood Qi-Regulating Decoction, followed by the Golden Unchangeable Musk Sandalwood Pills. Take 30–40 pills per dose: the first dose is taken with scallion white decoction at the first watch; the second dose with dried tangerine peel decoction at the second watch; and the third through fifth doses with white mulberry bark decoction.
