Drug Formulation
1 qian of ginseng, 1 qian of frankincense (oil removed), 1 qian of myrrh (oil removed), 1 qian of cinnabar, 1 qian of licorice, 1 qian of catechu, 2 fen of amber, 2 fen of pearl, 1 fen of donkey-hide gelatin, 1 fen of white angelica root, 1 fen of borneol, 5 fen of rhinoceros yellow, and 5 fen of dangmenzi.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and store tightly in a porcelain jar to prevent the scent of the medicine from escaping.

Instructions for Use
To use, first wash the affected area with a decoction of honeysuckle and licorice root. Apply the powder 4–5 times daily, then cover with an ointment; the pus and exudate will naturally drain completely.
