Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, sliced) 1 jin; raw and aged ginger (sliced with skin on) 8 liang.

Processing

Add 1 sheng of water and boil until dry; remove the ginger and roast the Magnolia Bark until dry.Separately, use 1 liang of dried ginger, 5 qian of licorice, and 1 sheng of water; boil together with the Magnolia bark until dry. Remove the licorice, then roast the dried ginger and Magnolia bark until dry and grind into a fine powder. In a separate process, boil 1 jin of jujubes and 2 liang of fresh old ginger until tender; remove the ginger, then mash the jujubes into a paste. Mix the jujube paste with the Magnolia bark powder to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose, washed down with rice porridge broth early in the morning.
