Drug Formulation

Angelica sinensis (washed with wine) 1 liang,Chuanxiong 1 liang, White Peony Root (stir-fried with salt and wine) 1 liang 2 qian, Prepared Rehmannia Root (soaked in ginger juice, then stir-fried) 8 qian, Ginseng 5 qian, White Atractylodes (stir-fried with earth) 1 liang 3 qian, Poria 6 qian, Licorice (roasted) 3 qian, Chinese Yam (stir-fried) 1 liang, Lotus Seed (peeled and pitted) 1 liang, Cowpea (stir-fried with ginger juice) 6 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with a paste made from ginger and Shenqu to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
