Asparagus root, in any quantity (peeled, with roots and fibrous strands removed, and thoroughly washed).

Processing
Grind into a powder, squeeze through a cloth to extract the juice, clarify and filter it, then simmer over low heat in a porcelain, earthenware, or silver vessel until it becomes a paste.
