Instructions for Use

Dig deep to extract a large Trichosanthes root; peel it thickly until the white pith is exposed. Cut it into one-cun pieces, soak in water for one day and one night, then change the water every day for five days. Remove the softened root, pound it until pulverized, grind it into a fine powder, and filter it through a silk bag using the method for making powder. Dry it thoroughly. Prepare it as a porridge with the powder, or consume it mixed with milk or cheese; there is no limit on the amount; continue until recovery is achieved.
