Drug Formulation
5 qian of copper carbonate, 4 qian of alum, 1 qian of gallnut, 1 qian of white clay, 1 qian of cuttlefish bone, and 0.5 fen of peppermint leaves.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with old ginger juice to form pills the size of a round eye kernel.

Effective for chronic and recent cases of “rotten eyelid” (eyelid inflammation).
Instructions for Use
To use, dissolve one pill in one zhan of light ginger decoction, then use the solution to wash the eyelid margins. Repeat the wash the following day. Continue washing in this manner 3–4 times, and the condition will be cured.
