Drug Formulation

1 red-footed centipede (fried in sesame oil until crisp, then patted dry on paper), 2 qian of frankincense, 2 qian of myrrh, 5 fen of musk, 5 fen of powdered gypsum, and 5 qian of human fingernails.

Except for the musk, which is ground separately, the remaining ingredients are wrapped in clay, baked until dry, and then ground into a powder.

Instructions for Use

Place the medicine in a goose-quill tube and blow it onto the affected area. If there is fluid, it will drain completely immediately without pain; a hard lump will form, which can be removed by tying a thread to it and pulling it off.
