Drug Formulation
2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Sichuan Aconite, 2 liang of Sichuan Pepper, 2 liang of refined salt, 5 qian of Red Peony Root, 5 qian of White Angelica, 5 qian of Notopterygium, 5 qian of Wood Fragrance, 5 qian of Dried Silkworm, 5 qian of Apricot Kernel, 1.5 sheng of Black Soybeans, 2 sheng of Sesame Seeds, 100 castor beans, 8 liang of Xanthium seeds, 1 liang 5 qian of White Aconite.

Processing
Grind each ingredient into a fine powder, mix thoroughly, and blend with 4 liang of cotton seed oil. Pack the mixture tightly into a porcelain jar. Insert several green locust branches through the jar to reach the bottom. Wrap the mouth of the jar with raw cloth. Dig a hole in the ground, bury a wide-mouthed, short jar inside, and pour the medicine mixture into it.seal it tightly with salt mud, pile 2 dou of cotton seeds on top of the jar, burn 200 jin of mulberry wood for half a day, remove the wood and leave the charcoal fire, and simmer until noon, at which point the oil will drip into the lower jar. Wait for it to cool, then remove it; add 5 qian each of realgar, frankincense, myrrh, and dragon’s blood, 1 qian of ox gall, and 2 qian of musk, grind them all into a fine powder, and mix them in.
