Drug Formulation
Peppermint (preferably pungent; use the leaves) 1 handful, wild chrysanthemum (with roots and leaves) 1 handful, wild fritillary bulb half a handful, sedge root 1 handful.

Processing
Dried ingredients may be ground into powder; fresh ingredients may be pounded into a paste; mix thoroughly with the fritillary bulb.

Instructions for Use
Decoct the reed root into a concentrated decoction, strain out the residue, and use it to mix the prepared powder while still hot; apply the mixture to the affected area. Keep the remaining decoction warm and periodically moisten the medicated area with it; do not use cold decoction, as coldness will prevent the medicine from dispersing and penetrating, and may instead cause pain. Leave the application on for about half a day, then replace it.
