Formulas Name : Sulfur and Alum Pills
Chinese Name : 硫矾丸
Drug Formulation
4 liang of sulfur, 4 liang of alum (place both ingredients in a jar, simmer in soy milk for one day and one night, remove the curdled residue, then simmer over low heat until dry; bury the jar underground 3 chi deep; remove it after 3 days—it will have turned purplish-gold; discard the muddy residue at the bottom), 3 liang of Poria,3 liang of Chinese yam (boil these two ingredients together, sun-dry, and expose to the open air overnight), 4 liang of Angelica sinensis (washed in wine, stir-fried until dry), 4 liang of white tribulus (soaked in wine overnight, stir-fried until dry),Wuyao (lightly stir-fried) 3 liang, Pinellia (soaked in water overnight, then boiled with 2 liang of ginger juice, 5 qian of alum, and 1 liang of horn thorns until the liquid is completely reduced) 3 liang, Apricot kernels (peeled, de-tipped, and roasted) 1.5 liang, Dried tangerine peel (white pith removed) 2 liang, Fennel seeds (stir-fried until dry) 1 liang.

Processing
Grind all ingredients into a fine powder; use date pulp and glue to form pills the size of mung beans.
