Chinese Name : 烧黄瓜丸
Drug Formulation
1 large cucumber, half a liang of Coptis (stems removed), 1 liang of Chinese Coptis, half a liang of aged tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked), 1 liang of softshell turtle shell (soaked in a child’s urine for three nights, lightly roasted until slightly yellow, and outer edges removed), and 1 liang of Bupleurum (stems removed).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a powder. Cut off the top of the cucumber, remove the seeds, and fill it with the powder until full. Cover it with the cut-off top. Mix buckwheat flour with water to form a paste, about three fen thick, and seal the cucumber with it. Roast it over smoldering ash until the flour turns golden brown. Remove it, let it cool, then add 1 qian of musk. Grind everything together into pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use
Take 7 pills per dose, washed down with rice water before meals.
