Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Benefits

Severe internal and external damp-heat, edema and abdominal distension, red and scanty urine, and loose stools.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian before meals, mixed with plain hot water.

Note

If urination does not become unobstructed but instead leads to diarrhea, this indicates that the damp-heat obstruction is extremely deep; attempting to clear it will not succeed and may instead cause severe diarrhea. This signifies that the patient’s vital energy has already declined, and the condition is often beyond rescue; one must be extremely cautious not to use purgative treatments.
