Drug Formulation

5 liang of Funiuhua, 3 liang of Nuwei, 1 liang of Xixin (stems and leaves removed), 1 liang of Juánbǎi, 1 liang of Weilingxian (soil removed), 1 liang of Fuzi (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), 1 liang of Goat Horn (sliced and stir-fried), 1 liang of Wood Fly (stir-fried until charred, wings and legs removed), and 1 liang of Realgar (ground with strong wine until thin).

Processing

Take the above 9 ingredients; first pound and sift 8 of them into a fine powder. Boil the realgar in wine to make a paste, then use it to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Benefits

For consumptive debility with loss of vital essence, resulting in atrophy and paralysis.

Instructions for Use

Take 15 pills at a time, washed down with warm wine at dawn and after the first watch; gradually increase the dose to 30 pills. Stop once improvement is observed.
