Drug Formulation

Chaihu (stems removed) 1 liang, Qin Jiao (stems and soil removed) 1 liang, Changshan 1 liang, Beimu (core removed) 1 liang, Licorice (lightly roasted) 1 liang, dried black plum flesh (baked) 1 liang, Gardenia seeds 1 liang, fermented soybeans 1 liang, softshell turtle shell (edges removed, vinegar-roasted) 1 liang,Scutellaria baicalensis (with black core removed) 1 liang, Fresh ginger (sliced) half a liang, Rheum palmatum (chopped, stir-fried) half a liang, Peach twigs (chopped) 1 handful, Willow twigs (chopped) 1 handful, White part of scallion (sliced) 1 handful, White part of Chinese leek (sliced) 1 handful, Glutinous rice half a he.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian bi per dose, boil with half a zhan of water and 2 fen of wine until reduced to 4 fen, strain, and take while warm. Take one dose each in the morning, at noon, and before bedtime. For children under 5 years old, divide the dose into 2 servings; for those under 2 years old, divide into 3 servings.
