Drug Formulation
Cimicifuga (Shengma) 8 qian, Pueraria Root (Ge Gen) 5 qian, Gentiana (Cao Longdan) (processed with wine) 5 qian, Scutellaria (Huang Qin) (processed with wine) 5 qian, Guang E Zhu (washed with wine, stir-fried) 5 qian, Jing San Leng (washed with wine, stir-fried) 5 qian,roasted licorice 5 qian, Coptis (washed with wine) 5 qian, Forsythia 5 qian, Platycodon 5 qian, raw Scutellaria 4 qian, Angelica root tips 3 qian, Peony 3 qian, Phellodendron (washed with wine) 2 qian, Anemarrhena (washed with wine, stir-fried) 1 liang.

Processing
Weigh half of the above ingredients separately, grind into a powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use
Take over 100 pills per dose; grind half into a coarse powder and take 5 qian per dose. If the patient can eat and has hard stools, the dose may be gradually increased to 7–8 qian. Soak in 2 zhan of water for half a day, then decoct until reduced to 1 zhan. Strain out the residue and take it hot before bedtime.Elevate the feet above pillow level while lying on your back; take one mouthful of the decoction and swallow it in 10 small sips, then retain one mouthful to wash down the pills. After finishing the dose, lie down as usual.
