Pinellia (processed with ginger) 49, Apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed) 49, Mountain bean (with skin and oil removed) 49, Overnight-steamed buns 4 liang (with skin removed), Dried carmine 2 qian (as coating).

Processing
Pound all ingredients together into a paste; add vinegar drop by drop to form pills the size of small beans.

Indications: typhoid fever, white and red dysentery, bloody dysentery, obstruction of urination and defecation, chest and abdominal pain, small intestine colic, kidney wind, intestinal wind, hemorrhoids with fistula, genital toxic typhoid fever, malaria, dysphagia; in children, paralysis and convulsions; in women, irregular menstruation.
Instructions for Use
Take 10 pills per dose, increasing to 15 pills as needed. This formula treats 21 conditions: for abdominal distension, take with Chenpi Decoction or rice water; for typhoid fever, take with Chenpi Decoction; for white dysentery, take with Dried Ginger Decoction; for red dysentery, take with Licorice Decoction; for bloody dysentery, take with Angelica Decoction; for obstruction of urination or defecation, take with knife-grinding water;for chest pain, take with Acorus root decoction; for heart pain, take with vinegar decoction; for cold-induced disorders, take with mugwort decoction; for exhaustion, take with rice water; for small intestine colic, take with anise decoction; for kidney wind, take with papaya decoction; for intestinal wind, hemorrhoids, fistulas, and diarrhea, take with sophora flower decoction; for hemoptysis, take with clove decoction;For Yin-toxin typhoid fever, take with scallion white decoction; for malaria, take with peach kernel decoction; for dysphagia, take with wood fragrant decoction; for childhood paralysis, take with soapberry decoction; for infantile convulsions, take with peppermint decoction;pediatric “Five Wastes” and “Eight Dysentery” conditions: take with rice water; for the “Five Coughs”: take with Ginseng and Aristolochia Decoction; for umbilical and abdominal pain: take with salt water; for lower back pain and beriberi: take with Phaselus Decoction; for watery diarrhea: take with Plantain Seed Decoction; for irregular menstruation in women: take with Safflower and Peony Decoction.
